CHEMICAL CHILLERS

INDUSTRIAL CHILLER APPLICATIONS

COOL CHEMICAL BALANCE

One of the most challenging aspects of processing, handling, and storing chemicals is maintaining consistent temperatures. The level of exactness in processing and handling chemical requires chemical chillers that are reliable and meet extreme processing needs. Chemical chillers optimize operations for laboratory equipment and provide water for injections, sterile solutions, and cell culture media. As environmental regulations and challenging market conditions place higher demands on chemical operations, improved cooling technologies are emerging to help address the challenges. North Slope Chillers are portable, have a minimal footprint, and provide full-coverage cooling for chemical processing applications.

CHEMICAL CHILLING

UNDERSTANDING HOW PROCESS COOLING WORKS
Process cooling removes unwanted or unnecessary heat from processes in order to keep operations running smoothly. For example, if equipment is overheating, this could damage the materials, the product being created, and even the equipment. In this case, process cooling applies cooling to the equipment in order to protect both the equipment and the materials, and maintain desired operational temperatures for the industrial process. In many industries, proper process cooling is the difference between an excellent product and damaged goods.

CHEMICAL COOLING SOLUTIONS

Refrigerated rooms are room-sized refrigerators used to improve chemical cooling.  These could be a suitable process cooling solution for large production facilities requiring more space to accommodate a constant storage supply of chemical drum containers.  However, refrigerated rooms requires significant time to set up, are a costly investment, and are difficult to relocate or store. A second option for cooling during chemical storage is chiller units. Chemical chillers use localized cooling to draw excess heat from the contents of each drum container.
