HYDROPONIC WATER CHILLERS

INDUSTRIAL CHILLER APPLICATIONS

CONTROL TEMPERATURE & INCREASE QUALITY

In a hydroponic system, optimal nutrient absorption happens when the root zone is at just the right temperature. The ideal nutrient solution and water temperature is typically between 65°F and 68°F. Within this range, high levels of dissolved oxygen are available at the root zone. When the environment gets too warm, nutrients are not optimally absorbed, algae grows, and roots decay. Hydroponic water chillers maintain critical temperatures and protect the delicate root zone. With North Slope Chillers and Fluxwrap, hydroponic water chilling is simple.

WHY HYDROPONICS?

UNDERSTANDING THE BENEFITS OF A HYDROPONICS SYSTEM
Compared to soil, growing in a hydroponic system with a nutrient solution allows you more control over the balance of macronutrients, micronutrients, oxygen levels, and pH of your plants. The water in the nutrient solution is recycled which reduces water loss through evaporation and drainage. No soil also means reduced breeding surface area for pests and less pesticide absorption. Hydroponic growing frees you from the restrictions of seasonal growth or outsources growing to more mild climates.

HYDROPONIC WATER CHILLING SOLUTIONS

Effective hydroponic water cooling maintains optimal temperatures to preserve the health of your grow. Growers have employed several methods for hydroponic water chilling.  These methods such as using shade and ice can be ineffective and time consuming. Other options such as submerged aquarium chillers can be underpowered and require the purchase of several chillers to cool your reservoir.
